About Our Founder
Cally Caillouet M.S is a passionate professional in the field of counseling and developmental psychology. She recently completed a Post Masters Curriculum in Adoption Competency through the Center for Adoption Support and Education. With additional expertise in Developmental Psychology from the University of New Orleans, Cally possesses a comprehensive understanding of human behavior and trauma.
Cally’s commitment to continuous learning is evident through various certifications, including TBRI Practitioner, Training For Adoption Competency, and Psychological First Aid. As a TBRI Practitioner Consultant, Cally has been instrumental in providing trauma-informed training to staff in several systems such as school districts and hospital systems. Actively engaged in the community, Cally serves on the Southeastern Counseling Program Advisory Board and the Louisiana Foster Parent Advisory Board, demonstrating a passion for making a positive impact.
Cally's dedication extends beyond the professional realm, actively participating in supporting high needs families in the community and offering consultations on adoption-related cases. With a proven track record of success, Cally is a visionary leader committed to creating positive change through trauma-informed training and community involvement.
What We Do and Who We Serve
At Relational Roots, we specialize in providing trauma-informed training to vital systems including hospitals, schools, and government agencies. Our mission is to cultivate a community of trauma-informed systems, creating a supportive environment for children and families who have endured trauma. Through consultations, we assess and enhance the level of trauma-informed practices and policies within these systems. We firmly believe that every child deserves to experience connection, regulation, and a sense of felt-safety.
The Collective
The Collective is a dedicated group of mental health professionals united under the banner of The Complex Trauma Training Consortium (CTTC). Based in Louisiana, each member brings a wealth of experience, both professionally and personally, to their commitment as CTTC trainer training field site. With a profound passion for Complex Trauma training, The Collective aims to deliver impactful trainings to diverse systems across Louisiana. Embarking on this journey in January 2024, they aspire to achieve full roster status by the summer of 2025, contributing to the advancement of trauma-informed practices in the region.
The 20-module curriculum advances understanding of complex trauma impact, assessment, treatment, and public health implications, and addresses the intersection of complex trauma with adverse life experiences such as historical and ancestral trauma, systemic racism, and substance abuse. Trainers will demonstrate mastery of the material and ultimately teach the curriculum in their home regions.

The Collective must provide community trainings for all 20 modules they are learning to train through CTTC. Each trainer must facilitate a training for each module they are assigned which will result in the opportunity for the collective to present on the same modules multiple times.
